Our actions to promote sustainable procurement

RHSF implements socially responsible purchasing pilot projects by rallying its partners and network of Vice-Presidents based across Africa, America, Asia and Europe. These projects seek to improve Human Rights in the workplace through the development of long-term innovative activities with the backing  of all key players in the supply chain.

Since 2012, RHSF working on a pilot project proves that with a solid management system of human resources and a responsible purchasing policy, we can improve the quality, productivity, living standards and working conditions of employees (reduce the number of overtime, improving health and safety policy, the fight against discrimination, train staff representatives and increase wages).

RHSF and a French company, a 500-strong SME specializing in high security equipment, have joined forces to develop a methodology aimed at encouraging its major subcontractors in a partnering approach. The objective is twofold: ensure that basic Human Rights are respected and that CSR becomes a driver for innovation and competitiveness.

 

Country Maps

2RHSF issues country maps which allow to identify in selected countries social risks (i.e.: forced labour, discrimination, Health & Safety, freedom of association, etc.) along with the key players and stakeholders involved in these issues locally.

As of today, country maps for China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Qatar, Bulgaria and Romania are available.
