Individual, company, public player,
I can act against child labour, forced labour and abusive working conditions
8.7 Challenge, what is it ?
In 2015, heads of states and governments adopted within the UN, the SDGs Sustainable Development Goals to guide global development towards the 2030 Agenda. The 8.7 target is the following :
"Take immediate and effective measures to eradicate forced labour, end modern slavery and human trafficking and secure the prohibition and elimination of the worst forms of child labour, including recruitment and use of child soldiers, and by 2025 end child labour in all its forms.”
From this goal, HRWB launched 8.7 Challenge in 2017: mobilize each and everyone of us (individuals, companies, unions, public players…) to eradicate child labour, forced labour and undignified working conditions.
For further informartions, listen to the presentation of 8.7 Challenge, given by HRWB director.
