July 2015

Today, RHSF team has identified the main local partners of the Social and Solidarity-based Economy on the territories set by the European Union, i.e. Aquitaine, Poitou-Charentes, Limousin, Midi-Pyrénées, Languedoc-Roussillon and Ile-de-France.

The mapping of the different actors, identified by their experience and knowledge of the ESS in their region (e.g. associations, foundations, health insurance companies…) has been put in place to show their power and impact in the society.

With the support of their partners, RHSF has launched a survey with the aim to better understand their actions and identify the good practices of the ESS.

The good practices of the ESS should comply with at least most of the following criterias:

  • Social innovation
  • Solidarity
  • Democratic governance
  • Dialogue as business strategy
  • Wage policy
  • Social integrity
  • Environmental challenges
  • Territorialisation of the economic activity
  • Link with the users and response to the population’s needs which have remained uncovered
